The Lexington Veterans' Association, through its sponsorship of monthly speakers on miltary-related topics of public interest, provides a forum where veterans, their families, and members of the community come together in fellowship to be informed and inspired by our speakers;  gathers, preserves, makes available to the public and safeguards for future generations, the oral histories of veterans; in collaboration with the Veterans Services Officer, encourages new returning veterans to secure all benefits to which they are entitled; and fosters a positive spirit of active citizenship and support for the military within the community.
